Plumbline Services is seeking motivated, hardworking HVAC Install Helpers to join our growing team. As an HVAC Install Helper, you'll assist experienced HVAC Installers with residential equipment installations, system replacements, and job site preparation while receiving on-the-job training designed to help you advance your skills and grow into future technician and installer roles.

Responsibilities:

What Will I Do?

  • Assist with the installation and replacement of residential HVAC systems and equipment
  • Support lead installers with all phases of HVAC installations
  • Help install, connect, and test equipment to ensure proper operation
  • Assist with equipment start-up and system commissioning
  • Transfer tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites
  • Assist with troubleshooting, basic repairs, and preventative maintenance activities as needed
  • Adjust, connect, and disconnect wiring, piping, tubing, ductwork, and other HVAC components using hand and power tools
  • Maintain clear communication with customers, dispatch, and management throughout the installation process
  • Accurately complete job documentation, time sheets, and installation records
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory levels
  • Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized before, during, and after installation
  • Follow all company safety procedures and industry regulations
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and professionalism at every job site
Qualifications:

Do I have What it Takes?

  • Mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn a skilled trade
  • Previous construction, mechanical, labor, or HVAC experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced technicians
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Results-driven with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with ServiceTitan is preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred
