You'll evaluate installation quality, verify systems have been installed according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes, and ensure every installation operates properly before turnover to the customer.You'll inspect split systems, package units, heat pumps, gas furnaces, air handlers, rooftop units, indoor air quality equipment, thermostats, controls, and duct systems while verifying refrigerant charge, airflow, electrical connections, condensate drainage, equipment startup, and overall system performance.When improvements are needed, you'll document findings, communicate corrective actions clearly, and work directly with installation technicians to ensure issues are resolved quickly and accurately. You'll also provide field coaching, answer technical questions, reinforce installation best practices, assist with warranty-related concerns, complete inspection reports, and collaborate with project managers to maintain consistency across the installation department.Your role will be instrumental in helping installers continue developing their skills while ensuring every customer receives the high-quality installation experience Spectrum AC is known for.What We're Looking ForWe're seeking experienced HVAC professionals with at least three years of residential HVAC installation experience. Previous experience serving as a lead installer, field supervisor, quality control technician, installation trainer, or similar leadership role is highly preferred.Candidates should have a thorough understanding of residential HVAC installation procedures, refrigerant charging, airflow balancing, electrical systems, duct design, equipment startup, commissioning, and manufacturer installation standards. The ability to identify installation deficiencies, troubleshoot technical issues, and communicate corrective actions in a positive, professional manner is essential.Successful candidates are detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Strong communication skills, leadership ability, and a passion for mentoring others are key to success in this role.EPA Certification is preferred.
