Position Overview

As an HVAC Installer Apprentice, you''ll work alongside experienced installation technicians learning how to install residential heating and air conditioning systems. Through hands-on training, you''ll develop the skills needed to become a professional HVAC Installer while gaining valuable field experience on a variety of residential projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent trade school graduates or mechanically inclined individuals looking to begin a rewarding career in the HVAC industry.

What You''ll Do

• Assist with the installation of residential heating and air conditioning systems
• Help remove and replace furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment
• Learn proper installation techniques for ductwork, refrigerant lines, thermostats, and ventilation components
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and installation equipment
• Load materials, organize job sites, and maintain company vehicles
• Follow installation specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and company quality standards
• Maintain a clean and professional work area at every job site
• Deliver courteous, professional customer service while working in customers'' homes
• Participate in ongoing technical and safety training

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver''s license with an insurable driving record
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Positive attitude and dependable attendance
• Mechanical aptitude with an interest in working with tools and equipment
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and varying weather conditions
• Comfortable working on ladders and in physically demanding environments
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC trade school enrollment or completion
• EPA Universal Certification (or ability to obtain)
• Previous construction, mechanical, warehouse, or general labor experience
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
• Desire to build a long-term career in residential HVAC installation
