Job Title: HVAC Mechanic (Installation)

Location: Greater Baltimore Region

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 40 – 48 hours per week

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled mechanics to perform HVAC installation services for both residential and commercial systems in the Greater Baltimore Region. This role includes working with a variety of systems, including split and packaged units, mini splits, Commercial VRF systems, exhaust hoods, and make-up air systems.

Job Description:

As an HVAC Mechanic, you will be responsible for installing new HVAC systems across residential and commercial properties. Your daily tasks will include refrigeration piping, ductwork installation, hanging equipment, trim work, and control setup. The work will vary each day, ensuring no two installations are the same. On-the-job training will be provided, and VRF training and certification will be offered regularly to enhance your skills.

Responsibilities:

• Install HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Perform tasks such as refrigeration piping, ductwork, equipment hanging, trim work, and control installations.
• Work with systems such as mini splits, VRF, and commercial exhaust hoods.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Ensure quality service and compliance with safety and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Maryland Journeyman or Master HVAC license preferred, but not required, with Universal CFC certification.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in HVAC installation.
• Strong communication skills to interact clearly with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and carry tools as needed.
• Comfortable working off of ladders (both A-frame and extension ladders).
• Willingness to learn and grow within the trade.
• Apprentice or Journeyman’s License preferred.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8-hour shifts
• Overtime as required
