HVAC Installer
Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on union card
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday | 7:00am to 4:00pm | overtime available
What You Will Be Doing:
- Retrofit / Changeout of residential heating and air conditioning systems
- Ducted and ductless systems
- Installing Indoor Air Quality accessories, and ductwork
- Installing boilers
- Radiant heat and steam systems
- Test and balance systems
- Consult with customers and answer their questions
- Supervise the work of other installers, and train new installers
- Maintaining a high-quality and timely job performance

What We Are Looking For:
- 3 years of experience performing residential HVAC retrofit and system replacement projects
- Previous experience serving as a crew leader or overseeing installation teams
- Current EPA Type I & II Certification or EPA Universal Certification required
- Skilled in the installation of gas furnaces, electric furnaces, heat pumps, mini-split systems, and other residential HVAC equipment
- Experience with boiler installation, setup, and replacement
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, ductwork layout, fabrication, and installation practices
- Capable of mentoring, training, and directing less-experienced technicians and installers
- Thorough understanding of HVAC low-voltage controls, wiring, and system operation
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as part of daily job duties
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education required
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record
Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
