Portable Air, LLC is expanding our Operations Team in the Houston, TX area! We specialize in providing temporary climate control and power distribution for industrial sites, tents & events across the Southeastern US. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

The HVAC Installer must hold a Class A CDL (CDL/A) <\/i><\/b>to be considered for this position. This role requires installation of temporary equipment in addition to driving. The ideal candidate has open availability to work weekends.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

• Load trucks with appropriate equipment for each job.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Drive trucks to job sites, efficiently install portable HVAC equipment for customers.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Return to the shop, unload & clean the trucks, return unused equipment to the appropriate location.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair faulty equipment.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Ability and willingness to travel away from home for extended periods of time.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

• Participation in maintenance of temporary equipment at the shop.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p><\/li>

  Heavy lifting, shop work and 25% Southeast US travel is required for this position. On the job training will be provided. <\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Active, unrestricted Class A Commercial Drivers License is required.<\/span>
  <\/p>

  • Valid Class A CDL (CDL/A) with a clean driving record.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • High School Diploma/GED<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Forklift experience is preferred.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • On call schedule participation is required.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Honor employee commitment to a drug -free workplace and pass a federal background check.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ability to physically stand for long periods, bend, squat, lift 70 pounds, climb ladders, and work on elevated levels. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
