Role Summary
We’re hiring experienced Residential HVAC Installers (preferred 4+ years lead installer experience). Installer-focused candidates must be able to install residential split systems, heat pumps, furnaces, and thermostats to code, work efficiently with a helper on roll-outs, and provide excellent homeowner communication.
We’re hiring Installer/Helper teams! If you’re an installer who has a helper you enjoy working with and who will come with you, we can make that happen. This role reports to our Installation Manager.
What’s in It for You
Base Pay: $35–$40/hr for qualified installers (4+ years). Commensurate pay for less experience. Paid weekly.

Performance Bonuses: Up to ~$20,000 average in commission/bonus compensation annually.

Tools & Tech: Service Titan, Rilla, mobile diagnostic tools. Bring your own basic hand tools; specialty equipment provided.
Training: Paid training, ride-alongs, onboarding program.
Schedule: Typical week is ~45–50 hours (~7:30 AM–4:00 PM). Occasional weekend installs required.
Qualifications and Who We Seek
Experience: Preferred 4+ years residential HVAC installer (lead installer) experience. (If you have less than 4 years’ lead experience, we still want to talk; pay will be commensurate).
Technical Skills: Experience with residential split systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, ductwork basics, and electrical hookups. Ability to read installation paperwork, set equipment to manufacturer specs, and perform start-up/commissioning.
Soft Skills: Customer-facing skills (explaining system operation to homeowners), a growth mindset, coachable, and a willingness to mentor a helper.
Logistics: Service Titan or other CRM experience required. Able to come into the shop 2x/week (training Tuesdays/Thursdays at 7:30 AM).

Top 6 Installation Competencies You Must Be Able to Do
Complete residential split‑system and heat‑pump installs (evaporator coil, line‑set evacuation, brazing, charging to spec, and electrical hookups).
Gas furnace installs (combustion setup, venting, gas piping, safety checks).
Ductwork modifications and airflow (basic sheet‑metal work, register placement).
Electrical and controls competency (240V wiring, motor/contactors, control wiring).
System start‑up, commissioning, thermostat configuration, and customer orientation.
Refrigerant handling, leak detection, EPA compliance, and local safety/code standards.
Overall Daily Expectations
Complete installation workflow and documentation in ServiceTitan.
Perform pre-job vehicle and tool checks; verify required parts/materials.
Coordinate and lead a helper through installs, ensuring quality and safety.
Isolate and resolve field installation issues, troubleshoot start-up problems.
Communicate professionally with homeowners, Dispatcher, and the Installation Manager.
