Job Description
The HVAC Installer Technician will primarily work on residential and light-commercial HVAC systems as part of a small team of 2-4 members. This role involves extensive customer interaction and focuses on installing, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC equipment while adhering to safety standards. The technician will ensure quality assurance and proper documentation throughout the installation process, fostering effective team collaboration and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC equipment in residential and light commercial settings
- Conduct system testing to ensure proper operation
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot system issues
- Adhere to safety compliance and procedures
- Engage extensively with customers to provide service and support
- Document installation activities and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate effectively with small team members
- Ensure quality assurance throughout all tasks
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of HVAC installation experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- EPA Section 608 Certification
- Experience with HVAC system installation and electrical wiring
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Physical stamina to perform demanding installation work
