HVAC Journeymen - New Construction

We are seeking skilled and reliable HVAC Journeymen to join our new construction team in Napa, CA! This role focuses on the installation, layout, and commissioning of HVAC systems for commercial new-build projects. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, can read and interpret plans, works efficiently on job sites, and takes pride in high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems in new construction projects according to plans, specifications, and local codes
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings
• Install ductwork, piping, condensers, air handlers, furnaces, and related components
• Ensure proper system layout, airflow, and equipment placement
• Coordinate with general contractors, supervisors, and other trades on-site
• Perform pressure testing, start-ups, and system commissioning
• Identify and resolve installation issues or conflicts in the field
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Comply with OSHA regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Accurately complete job documentation and reports as required

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of HVAC experience, with a strong focus on new construction
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, materials, and installation practices
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of local mechanical codes and regulations
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• EPA Certification (preferred or required, depending on role)
