The A/C Guy of Tampa Bay is hiring a full-time HVAC Maintenance / Helper Technician to support our team in delivering high-quality residential and light commercial heating and cooling service throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Pay
$18.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with opportunities for overtime, spiffs, and advancement.
This is an hourly position.

What You'll Do
As an HVAC Maintenance / Helper Technician, you will support our service and install teams with day-to-day field work, maintenance tasks, and jobsite preparation. Responsibilities may include:
Assist lead technicians and installers on residential and light commercial jobs
Perform basic HVAC maintenance tasks and system cleanings
Help with equipment setup, teardown, and jobsite organization
Carry tools, materials, and parts to support efficient job completion
Maintain clean, safe, and professional jobsites
Assist with filter changes, coil cleaning, drain line clearing, and other preventive maintenance duties
Help load and unload trucks and keep vehicles stocked and organized
Learn proper HVAC service, maintenance, and installation practices
Communicate professionally with team members and customers
Follow company safety standards, processes, and expectations

Requirements
HVAC experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to lift 50–60 lbs
Ability to work in Florida heat, outdoors, and in attics/crawlspaces when needed
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening upon hire
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
