Position Overview
Exact Temp Heating & Cooling is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented HVAC Maintenance Technician to perform routine service and preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial systems.
This position plays a key role in delivering value to our customers through our Exact Advantage Maintenance Program, helping extend equipment life, improve efficiency, and prevent costly breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform seasonal A/C and heating tune-ups
- Clean and inspect HVAC components including coils, filters, and drain lines
- Check refrigerant levels, pressures, and overall system performance
- Inspect electrical components, capacitors, contactors, and wiring
- Test airflow, thermostat operation, and safety controls
- Identify potential issues before they become major repairs
- Educate customers on system condition and maintenance benefits
- Recommend repairs, upgrades, or membership renewals when appropriate
- Document all work performed using company software
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum 3 years of HVAC experience (maintenance or service preferred)
- EPA Certification (required or willing to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and stay on schedule
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
