We are looking for a motivated HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team in Austin. This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals with basic HVAC experience who are eager to grow their careers within the trade. You’ll play a critical role supporting HVAC projects through field inspections, installation prep, equipment handling, and direct work with licensed technicians.
This position is designed to support our utility rebate programs in partnership with the City of Austin. Candidates will gain exposure to residential and light commercial HVAC systems, customer service, and quality control processes in the field.
Requirements
- Assist licensed HVAC technicians with rebate project installations, HVAC tune ups, and inspections related to energy rebate projects.
- Transport and set up equipment and materials at job sites.
- Collect documentation, take photos, and ensure data accuracy for rebate verification.
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, coil cleaning, and duct sealing.
- Communicate professionally with property managers, tenants, and homeowners.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures on all job sites.
- Provide feedback to the Rebate Program Manager regarding field conditions and material needs.
- Maintain organized tools and inventory on service vehicles.
- Participate in ongoing training and development sessions.
