You'll work with a variety of makes and models while helping homeowners get the most reliable and efficient performance from their systems.Responsibilities will include:Performing scheduled HVAC maintenance and tune-upsInspecting residential heating and cooling equipmentCleaning coils, drains, and system componentsChecking motors, electrical connections, thermostats, and overall system operationChecking refrigerant pressures and identifying potential system issuesRecognizing conditions that may require additional repair or serviceDocumenting work performed and maintaining accurate service recordsExplaining maintenance findings and recommendations to homeownersProviding professional, courteous customer serviceMaintaining a clean, organized service vehicleKeeping tools, equipment, and materials properly maintainedFollowing company procedures and all applicable safety standardsWhat You NeedWe're looking for someone who understands residential HVAC fundamentals and can confidently perform maintenance work with limited supervision.Qualifications:Previous hands-on experience with residential HVAC maintenanceEPA Universal or Type II certificationWorking knowledge of refrigeration and electrical systemsHVAC technical school or formal training preferredFamiliarity with applicable codes and local requirementsValid driver's license with an insurable driving recordComfortable operating hand and power toolsAbility to work safely from an 8-foot step ladder and 12-foot extension ladderComfortable working in outdoor conditions, including Florida heatStrong communication and customer service skillsDependable attendance and work historyStrong attention to detail and troubleshooting abilityProfessional appearance and attitudeOwns the basic hand tools required for the positionGrow With SunshineWe're committed to helping our technicians continue developing their skills.
