Position Overview
The HVAC Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role ensures optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety standards across residential, commercial, or industrial properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including inspections, cleaning, and system tune-ups to ensure efficient operation
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, including electrical, mechanical, and control-related problems
- Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and ductwork
- Respond to service calls and emergency repair requests in a timely manner

- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, EPA regulations, and company procedures
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of HVAC maintenance or service technician experience
- EPA Certification (Universal or Type II preferred)
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical components, and mechanical troubleshooting
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals [
- Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
