As a Maintenance Technician, you'll perform preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems while developing a deeper understanding of system operation, diagnostics, and performance. This position offers a clear opportunity for advancement into a Service Technician role.
What You'll Do:
- Perform scheduled HVAC preventative maintenance visits
- Clean and inspect air conditioning and heating equipment
- Replace filters, belts, and other maintenance components
- Check electrical connections and system performance
- Identify potential issues before they become major repairs
- Communicate maintenance recommandations to internal team
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and work area
- Follow all company safety procedures
Qualifications
- 2+ years of HVAC maintenance experience
- EPA certification is a plus
- Basic hand and power tools
- Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in Houston weather
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn and grow within the HVAC trade
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with overtime based on seasonal demand
