HVAC Maintenance Technician

TradeWorX is hiring an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a client offering long-term, stable work. Pay & Overtime:

• Up to $31.00/hour based on experience and interview
• Temp-to-hire opportunity
• Overtime available as business needs require

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Day shift
• Temp-to-hire with long-term opportunity

Job Duties:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and replace commercial HVAC equipment including chillers, rooftop units, and wet/dry side systems.
• Assist with HVAC installations, ductwork modifications, and sheet metal work using blueprints and work orders.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and water distribution systems.
• Complete minor electrical and plumbing repairs as needed.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency service calls using a work order management system.
• Conduct property inspections and communicate repair recommendations to management.

Requirements:

• Commercial HVAC maintenance and repair experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical schematics.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, heating, air conditioning, brazing, and soldering.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills.
• Ability to mentor team members while working safely in a team environment.
