Experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician Baker Rental Company, LLC is a Central Ohio Property Management Company specializing in residential real estate. We have been providing exceptional value to our residents for over 50 years. WE ARE SEEKING A FULL-TIME APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN TO WORK PRIMARILY AT SEVERAL COMMUNITIES ON THE EAST SIDE OF COLUMBUS, OHIO. Duties and Responsibilities: 1) Perform diagnosis and repair of wide-ranging apartment and building component problems, including HVAC systems. 2) Perform make ready repairs and installations for new occupancy. 3) Identify and report conditions requiring major repair to General Manager; 4) Assist with grounds upkeep to ensure that areas are well- groomed for outstanding curb appeal. 5) Demonstrate superior customer service; 6) Complete other duties as requested by management. Qualifications: 1) MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLS AND TRUCK, AND BE HVAC CERTIFIED ; 2) Minimum 3 years of experience in apartment maintenance with the ability to perform all Duties and Responsibilities. 3) Must work well as part of a team; 4) Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to provide pleasant customer service. Must also be able to provide direct, clear and professional communication with customers, co-workers, supervisors, and others. 5) Must be highly organized. Attention to detail, ability to Prioritizing and follow-through is a must. 6) Must be able to climb up and down stairs with ease and lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds. 7) Must be able to regularly engage in repetitive bending, turning, twisting, kneeling, squatting, crawling, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching out, reaching up, grasping and pinching; 8) Excellent credit and personal background.
