HVAC Mechanic

LB&B Associates is currently seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic to support our contract located at the Alton Lennon Federal Building, Wilmington, NC. This position is a full-time union position.

Job Details

• Hourly pay rate: $39.14 per hour
• Health and Welfare Pay: $6.50 per hour up to 40 hours per week, not to exceed 2080 hours per year
• Working Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain Nate Certification within 6 months of employment
• HVAC Mechanic - Nate Certified hourly pay: $41.20 per hour
• Must have a minimum of (5) years experience working on large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment
• Must be competent to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on:
• Boilers
• Chillers
• Hot water heating systems
• Domestic water plumbing systems
• Air handlers
• VAV components
• Other various HVAC equipment and building systems
• General maintenance knowledge on how to operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• High School Diploma or G.E.D is required
• Universal EPA or CFC certification is required
• Technical training in HVAC is highly desired
