Confidential Employer.Job DescriptionDesign and develop HVAC and mechanical system layouts for large-scale grocery and retail facilitiesProduce detailed construction-ready drawings using AutoCAD, including plans, sections, schedules, and specificationsCoordinate HVAC designs with refrigeration, electrical, lighting, plumbing, and architectural constraintsPerform HVAC load calculations and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standardsLay out ductwork, ventilation paths, and mechanical spaces to manage high thermal and humidity loadsTranslate field conditions, client input, and conceptual ideas into accurate, buildable drawing setsConduct on-site surveys and walkdowns to document existing conditions and validate designsSupport installation and commissioning teams to ensure designs function as intended in real-world conditionsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related engineering field5+ years of HVAC or mechanical design experience in commercial or industrial environmentsExpert‑level proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plusStrong understanding of HVAC systems, load calculations, and construction documentationAbility to manage multiple active projects in a fast-paced design-build settingFamiliarity with ASHRAE standards and applicable mechanical codesWhy You Will Love Working HereYou'll be trusted to do meaningful, technical work that matters.
