Position Location: This role supports our Harleysville, PA branch location, which serves customers throughout the greater Philadelphia, PA area.

Siemens and the UA National Plumbers and Pipefitters Union operate under a Master Agreement regarding HVAC mechanical work, ensuring competitive wages, benefits, and pension. All candidates will either need to be a Union Member or if they have valid Trade experience, they will need an approved authorization to work under our Bargaining Agreement from the Union. Siemens will share information and coordinate with the union to ensure candidates operate under our Bargaining Agreement for Compensation, Pension, Health & Welfare. Candidates will provide the completed authorization to Siemens, prior to starting work. Siemens will make Payments in accordance with our Agreement, on behalf of the successful candidate to the Union.

As an HVAC Mechanical Equipment Servicemen, you will:

• Keep existing commercial and unitary systems operating in an efficient manner.
• Develop your technical skills by assisting Journeymen in the repair of chillers.
• Maintain other mechanical systems operation under contract with Siemens customer base
• Work with our field quoting team to provide parts information, equipment data and labor hours needed for quoted repairs to be accurately quoted by the FQC.\u202f
• Establish & maintain a positive relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective oral and written communication skills via phone, computer, and in person.
• Use OEM software and technology, a variety of hand-tools, rigging equipment, and be able to follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Enforce Safety to the highest standards. Take accountability for the Siemens Safety Program by recording Safety Audits and ensuring you are working within compliance standards.
• Work as part of a team who is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of service to all Siemens customers. This may require the flexibility to work overtime and weekends as the business requires, including occasional overnight stays.
• Duties may be modified by agreement between the Union and the Employer
• Servicemen may attain Journeymen status with sufficient training, work experience and successfully passing a qualified Journeyman examination.

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Practical working experience in the commercial mechanical service field.
• MES may be required to pass a qualified Serviceman examination as to their skills.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld computer (i.e. Smartphone, computer)
• Compliance to company Safety program
• Valid driver's license
• Universal EPA Certification
• Membership in good standing with the Local Union or ability to obtain Union authorization/membership.
