Job Summary

We are seeking HVAC Operations Engineer to join our team. The Facilities Operations Engineer designs, implements, and owns processes that make our day‑to‑day plant operations more efficient, reliable, and aligned with the World’s Best Operation vision.

 

Job Description

  • Process & SOP Management
    • Keep SOPs and emergency‑response procedures up‑to‑date.
    • Build and maintain a workflow for daily repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
    • Support transition from construction focus to sustaining operations
  • Reliability & Risk
    • Support an equipment‑reliability program to spot and mitigate risks.
    • Support FMEA efforts with system engineers and track results.
  • Data‑Driven Improvement
    • Work with engineers to run analyses on failures and quality data.
    • Design and execute DOE studies for new equipment or procedures.
    • Identify bottlenecks in business processes and propose fixes.
  • Metrics & Reporting
    • o Define, monitor, and report key operational metrics across all shifts. Use the data to drive productivity and waste‑reduction initiatives.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership
    • Facilitate cross‑functional team meetings and lead departmental initiatives.
    • Partner with engineering, operations, and maintenance to prioritize work by criticality.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Apply Lean/Six‑Sigma tools to streamline business processes.
    • Champion a culture of proactive problem solving and customer‑focused service.

 

Skills Required

  • Experience: 3 years in facilities operations (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint
    • Familiarity with DOE and FMEA methodologies o Exposure to Lean or Six‑Sigma (certification a plus)
  • Core Competencies:
    • Strong written & verbal communication
    • Analytical mindset with proven problem‑solving ability
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, interrupt‑driven setting
    • Self‑starter who takes ownership and delivers results

Education/Training/Certifications

  • B.S. in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related field

 

Additional Requirements

  • Shift Time: 1st shift 8A-5P - Mon-Fri
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
