HVAC / Plumbing Engineer Designer

Our client is seeking an HVAC / Plumbing Engineer Designer to join their growing engineering team supporting commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. This role will focus on the design, layout, and coordination of HVAC and plumbing systems while working closely with engineers, project managers, architects, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Position Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial and industrial projects
• Prepare construction drawings, layouts, and project documentation
• Perform equipment selection and system layouts
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other trades
• Assist with project planning, specifications, and design calculations
• Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and related software platforms for design and coordination
• Participate in project meetings and design reviews
• Support construction administration and field coordination as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC and/or Plumbing Design required
• Engineering or design background within commercial construction preferred
• Proficiency with:
• • Revit
  • AutoCAD
  • Bluebeam
  • BIM/VDC coordination tools
    preferred
• Understanding of:
• • HVAC systems
  • Plumbing systems
  • Mechanical design principles
  • Commercial building systems
  • Construction documentation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a project team environment
