The HVAC Preventative Maintenance Laborer shall perform the full range of work involved in the preventative maintenance, and servicing of industrial and commercial grade Heating, Cooling, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems in support of facility sustainment services.
Responsibilities
Remove and replace disposable filters, remove, wash, and replace reusable filters, cleans fan coils, condensate pans and lines, evaporator units, and cooling towers.
Assist others in more complex or physically demanding tasks.
Perform routine maintenance work required at various facilities, such as sweeping, debris removal, litter pickup, and other general housekeeping tasks.
Occasionally operates a government-furnished vehicle.
Perform tasks using a variety of common hand tools.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum one (1) year of field experience supporting an HVAC Preventive Maintenance Program in a commercial or industrial setting. Preferred.
Possess a valid Drivers License.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Basic working knowledge of facility maintenance and operating characteristics.
Possess good organization and communication skills, as well as maturity and ability to deal with all levels of people, both inside and outside the company.
Possess industry experience in related shop mathematics and the interpretation and application of building plans, specifications, schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and sketches of all complexity, Preferred.
Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
