    Description

    Overview:

    Location: Brooklyn, New York, United States

    Experienced HVAC Project Manager with 10+ years overseeing mechanical system design, repair, and maintenance in complex public-sector settings. Certified in HVAC NATE and ISO 9001 with a Mechanical Engineering degree. Proven expertise in HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, and industrial equipment. Skilled in navigating NYC agencies (DOE, DOB, DEP, H+H) and delivering code-compliant projects on time in safety-critical environments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage HVAC projects from design to closeout, overseeing scope, budget, and field operations.
    • Coordinate with NYC agencies to ensure code compliance and regulatory approvals.
    • Review and approve plans, schedules, and technical solutions.
    • Support HVAC system design, including load calculations and equipment sizing.
    • Oversee repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC and mechanical systems.
    • Lead field supervision and contractor coordination for safe installation of boilers, chillers, pumps, and compressors.
    • Enforce OSHA safety standards through regular site meetings and inspections.
    • Implement performance improvements and cost-saving engineering solutions.
    • Maintain project documentation and support ISO 9001 compliance.

    Qualifications:

    • HVAC Design, Construction & Maintenance
    • Chiller Plants, Boilers, Pumps & Compressors
    • NYC Public Agencies (DOB, DOE, DEP, H+H, etc.)
    • Mechanical and Electrical System Coordination
    • HVAC NATE Certificate
    • ISO 9001 Quality Control Systems Certificate
    • Safety & Compliance (OSHA, NYC DOB)
    • Field Supervision & Subcontractor Management
    • Project Scheduling & Documentation
    • Air Quality & Energy Efficiency Troubleshooting
    • Engineering-Based Operational Improvement
