Role Description

\n

This is a full-time, on-site role for an HVAC Project Manager based in Oviedo, FL. The HVAC Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of HVAC projects, including coordination with clients, contractors, and team members.

Responsibilities:

\n

\n

• \n
• Oversee Field Personnel & Subcontractors
• \n
• Ensure quality and cost-effective installation of the HVAC system
• \n
• Set up job schedule
• \n
• Prepare submittals and shop drawings
• \n
• Prepare material lists for shop fabrication and order miscellaneous materials for HVAC system installation
• \n
• Handle purchasing of bought items (assisted by Vice President)
• \n
• Complete purchase orders and subcontracts; file in pending submittal book until approval
• \n
• Brief foreman on project details; communicate daily on job progress and needs
• \n
• Communicate weekly on individual performance of field personnel
• \n
• Visit job sites on a weekly basis
• \n
• Supervise Safety / HAZCOM programs and quality control
• \n
• Attend project meetings as required
• \n
• Maintain plan files and red lines
• \n
• Handle correspondence with general contractor and pricing for required change orders
• \n
• Manage job close-out including:

Operation and maintenance manuals

\n

As-built drawings

\n

Test & balance reports

\n

\n

Qualifications:

\n

\n

• \n
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the trade
• \n
• High school education or equivalent
• \n
• In-depth knowledge of ductwork, air distribution, and equipment installation
• \n
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• \n
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• \n
• Minimum of 3 years of drafting and estimating experience
• \n
