HVAC Project Technician

We want YOU to join our HVAC Project Team in North Austin. The desired candidate will have lead experience working in a Project-based setting for HVAC buildouts (heavy commercial, industrial). 

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform quoted project work on commercial HVAC equipment according to scope of work
• Collaborate with Project Team to complete assigned tasks and projects efficiently
• Communicate project updates, requirements, and job progress to Project Supervisor
• Deliver high-quality workmanship and maintain professional standards onsite
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and properly utilize PPE
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of company vehicle
• Coordinate and care for company-issued tools and equipment
• Complete accurate timecards and service documentation
• Notify customers upon arrival and departure from job sites
• Maintain consistent communication with Project Dispatcher, Project Supervisor, and project team
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience (5 years preferred)
• Current TDLR Technician Registration
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and system analysis
• Must provide standard HVAC hand tools including gauges, meter, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and smartphones/tablets
• Ability to work independently while contributing within a team environment
• Strong work ethic with a customer-service mindset
• Willingness to pursue continued training and industry development
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Valid driver’s license with minimum 3 years of driving history

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to lift and maneuver equipment, parts, and tools exceeding 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and elevated surfaces
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to work in extreme hot and cold weather conditions
