HVAC R Mechanic II

BayCare is currently in search of our newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.

Position Details:

• Location: Morton Plant North Bay Hospital, New Port Richey, FL
• Status: Full-time
• Shift: 7am-3:30pm
• Days: Varies - Weekends included

Responsibilities

• Perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to primarily include Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and
• associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes.
• Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in
• hospital or clinic environment.
• May be scheduled to work various work shifts and weekends to meet the needs of the hospital not necessarily within the craft
• lines.
• May require travel to perform necessary maintenance work at other BCHS facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

• Required: High School or Equivalent
• Preferred: Technical

Licenses

• Required - FL Driver's License
• Required: EPA Certification
• Preferred: Refrigeration Certification

Experience

• Required: 5 years as HVAC/R Service Related Technician
• Required: 2 years Building Automaton System
• Preferred: 3 years maintenance in hospital-related field
• Preferred: 1 year high rise
