Kelso Building Services is hiring a results-driven outside sales professional with HVAC experience to grow our commercial service and project business. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in prospecting-heavy environments and can confidently sell technical solutions to facility and operations leaders.

This is a field-based, hunter role—success comes from proactive outreach, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to close.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect and win new business through cold calling, in-person visits, referrals, and networking
  • Conduct on-site assessments and recommend HVAC service and system solutions
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline with consistent follow-up
  • Develop and present professional proposals, bids, and contracts
  • Partner with operations and estimating teams to ensure accurate scope and execution
  • Maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of HVAC or mechanical sales experience (required)
  • Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and services
  • Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and face-to-face selling
  • Skilled in consultative selling, negotiation, and objection handling
  • Experience using a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
