About the Role:
Kendall Plumbing & Heating Co Inc is looking for a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Yorkville, IL! Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment
• Install and commission new HVAC equipment and systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues efficiently
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly to customers
• Complete service documentation, work orders, and maintenance logs accurately
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory in good working order

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on HVAC service and repair experience
• EPA 608 Refrigerant Handling Certification required
• Solid knowledge of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle on-call duties
