Position Summary

The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential heating and cooling systems. This role requires strong technical skills along with the ability to educate homeowners and present service or replacement options professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems
  • Perform maintenance and system tune-ups
  • Present repair and replacement options to customers
  • Sell HVAC services, upgrades, and system replacements
  • Provide accurate estimates and explain recommended solutions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
  • Complete service documentation and invoices accurately
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and local codes

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC experience
  • Ability and willingness to sell services to customers
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Clean background check
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently
  • EPA II certification preferred
