Description
As a Senior HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing expert-level service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC systems. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Performing advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
Leading service calls and responding to emergency maintenance requests, including on-call rotations and overtime work as needed.
Conducting preventative maintenance, system inspections, and performance testing to optimize efficiency.
Interpreting and working from electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents to ensure correct installation and repairs.
Ensuring compliance with company's high standards for quality and safety, following industry best practices and regulatory codes.
Acting as a trusted advisor for customers, providing expert recommendations and building long-term relationships.
Training and mentoring junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Collaborating with internal teams (engineering, sales, and project management) to identify solutions and support business development.
Completing all required documentation, including work orders, warranty claims, and service reports, with accuracy and attention to detail.
What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications & Skills):
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and electrical components.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and technical documents.
Advanced troubleshooting skills - the ability to identify and solve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a drug & background check. Safety-first mindset – understanding and following all industry regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication skills – ability to work effectively with clients, project managers, and internal teams.
