This is a non-selling, purely technical role focused on diagnosing, troubleshooting, and supporting residential heat pump systems.
No sales quotas. No upselling. Just technical excellence, problem-solving, and helping customers feel confident in their home energy systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot heat pump and HVAC system performance issues
Conduct on-site walkthroughs of complex installations
Provide technical assessments and recommendations to installation teams and engineering staff
Verify system functionality, airflow, and refrigerant performance, documenting findings accurately
Support technician training by identifying installation challenges and sharing best practices
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project completion
Maintain accurate service documentation and uphold safety standards
Work occasional overtime during peak seasons as needed
3+ years of HVAC or heat pump service technician experience
Strong knowledge of heat pump systems, controls, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required
Strong communication and documentation abilities
Valid drivers license and ability to travel to job sites
Commitment to professionalism, safety, and customer satisfaction
$32$36 per hour
