Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced HVAC Technicians for projects located in or around Eugene, OR. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30-$35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential HVAC systems
- Complete residential service calls, scheduled maintenance, and inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits, controls, and HVAC components
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, and wiring
- Install and adjust thermostats and HVAC controls
- Service heat pumps, air conditioners, gas and electric furnaces, ductless mini-splits, boilers, and water heaters
- Test refrigerant systems and piping for leaks
- Use multimeters, refrigerant gauges, vacuum pumps, recovery machines, and standard HVAC hand tools
- Explain repairs, recommendations, and available options to customers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of residential HVAC service experience
- Residential retrofit and service experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Honest, dependable, and professional
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs.
- Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, and on rooftops
- Ability to obtain and maintain required industry certifications
- Must be able to successfully complete required drug screening
- Must be able to successfully complete background and DMV/driving record checks
