HVAC Service Technician

Criterion Plumbers is seeking a dedicated and skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a journeyman license and comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems and a commitment to providing excellent service. The role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC units in various settings, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install new HVAC systems in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure proper functioning of HVAC systems.
• Inspect and troubleshoot existing HVAC units to identify issues.
• Install necessary replacement parts on HVAC systems.
• Comply with industry safety standards and regulations.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must have or be willing to obtain with in 1 week of hire date - Universal EPA Certiciate.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential HVAC service required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with power and hand tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers.
• Must be able to handle physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various environmental conditions.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
