HVAC Service Technician II

- Pay: Starting at $30/hour, offer dependent on experience
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- 7:30 AM – 5 PM
What you need to succeed:
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
- Sheet metal work or refrigeration experience required; Vocational school or trade apprenticeships preferred.
- Valid driver’s license: ability to travel 85-90% of the time in a company vehicle.
- Graduated from a local HVAC training program.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Commercial HVAC field.
- Ability to independently perform routine maintenance and service larger HVAC equipment.
- Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems, with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
What you’ll be doing:
- Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems for industrial and commercial clients.
- Possess strong knowledge of diagnosing and repairing HVAC/R equipment and associated electrical systems.
- Perform start-up, balancing, and commissioning on equipment
- Identify maintenance risks on equipment and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Clean, adjust, and repair systems, including performing warranty services.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency repairs.
- Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to Skilled Trade 1 and apprentices.
- Ensure compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Complete accurate and timely paperwork, notes, and time entries into work orders.
- Assist customers with queries and perform other assigned duties.
