Job Description
HVAC Service Technician / Installer
Mann’s Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a skilled, motivated technician to join our 62-year team. This role includes HVAC installation, service, and repair, along with helping customers understand their options.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems
- Perform installations and service work
- Provide strong customer service
- Maintain truck stock, tools, and safety equipment
- Communicate with dispatcher and customers on scheduling
- Collect payment/authorization upon job completion
- Document installed equipment (make, model, serial, photos)
- Help customers decide between repair or replacement
- Meet performance standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years HVAC installation experience (mini splits, boilers, furnaces, AC/heat pumps)
- Own hand tools
- Knowledge of HVAC codes
- Experience with hot air and hot water systems
- Valid, clean driver’s license
- Willing to work overtime and on-call
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Willing to continue training/education
Certifications:
- EPA Certification (required)
- NATE Certification (preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License
