Job Details

HVAC Service Technician – Northern Colorado / Southern Wyoming **You can live anywhere in the territory or relocation assistance is available.**

You’ll be the go-to expert keeping mission-critical facilities comfortable year-round. From rooftop units to boiler plants and digital controls, you’ll tackle diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance that protect our clients’ production, research, and office environments. Expect variety: one day optimizing a variable-frequency drive, the next troubleshooting a 300-ton chiller alongside a seasoned mentor. With a stocked service vehicle, company-provided tools, and a dedicated dispatcher, you’ll focus on what you do best, solving mechanical problems and delighting customers.

Responsibilities:
– Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment
– Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls issues; recommend and carry out repairs
– Service and repair RTUs, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, and related components
– Document findings, parts used, and labor in mobile work-order software
– Communicate professionally with facility stakeholders to explain work performed and next steps
– Support a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Qualifications
– 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience (union journeyman card or equivalent strongly preferred)
– Solid troubleshooting skills on chillers, boilers, pumps, VFDs, and building automation systems
– EPA Section 608 Universal Certification; valid driver’s license with clean record
– Ability to read electrical schematics, sequence‐of‐operations, and blueprints
– Strong customer-service mindset and clear written/verbal communication
