Job Title: HVAC Service Technician Trainer
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM | Limited After-Hours Responsibility
Pay: $26-$28/hour base + performance incentives | Expected annual earnings $55,000-$110,000+

As an HVAC Service Technician Trainer, you will work directly with new and developing technicians through ride-alongs, technical coaching, call reviews, classroom support (20%), and hands-on field training (80%). Your role will focus on improving technical ability, customer communication, service consistency, and production standards while ensuring trainees are progressing into confident, independent, revenue-producing team members. You will balance active field involvement with leadership responsibilities, serving as both a technical expert and mentor.
This role is ideal for an experienced HVAC professional who thrives in a structured, performance-driven environment and is passionate about leadership, accountability, and helping others succeed. Candidates should have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coach, evaluate, and develop technicians while maintaining service excellence. Prior training, mentoring, or ride-along leadership experience is highly preferred.

• Proven technical troubleshooting and repair expertise
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading technicians preferred

Required Certifications:
• EPA 608 Type II or Universal Certification
• Completion of IAQ and SBE training within required company timeframes
