J&A Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is a trusted provider of residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services throughout Western Pennsylvania. General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems and equipment, including forced air systems, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and related components
- Perform thorough preventative maintenance services and seasonal tune-ups to maximize system performance, efficiency, and reliability
- Communicate clearly and honestly with homeowners regarding system issues, repair recommendations, and available solutions
- Recommend system upgrades, replacements, accessories, and additional services when appropriate to improve comfort, efficiency, and overall system performance
- Identify opportunities to upsell services and system enhancements while building trust and long-term customer relationships
- Assist with or perform HVAC system installations as needed
- Respond to emergency service calls promptly and professionally
- Track HVAC repairs, maintenance, and completed work within ServiceTitan
- Maintain compliance with company standards and applicable safety regulations
- Deliver exceptional customer service while building trust and rapport with homeowners
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience required
- EPA Certification required (EPA 608 Universal preferred)
- NATE Certification is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proven diagnostic and repair abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to build trust and establish rapport with homeowners
- Experience using ServiceTitan preferred
- Valid U.S. Driver's License with a clean driving record
