We are seeking an experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity in Waterford, CT.
Pay: $35 - $45 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install commercial HVAC sheet metal systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Lay out, measure, and mark materials for fabrication and installation.
- Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment, including shears, brakes, presses, and forming rolls.
- Coordinate work with supervisors, team members, and other trades.
- Train and mentor apprentices as needed.
- Maintain required trade licenses and certifications.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous customer service.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Connecticut SM2 Sheet Metal License required.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC sheet metal experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined or elevated spaces.
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding work in commercial construction environments.
