Jones College Position Announcement POSITION: HVAC Technician Assistant DIVISION: Physical Plant; reporting to Director of Physical Plant TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve (12) months COMPENSATION: Salary commensurate with education and experience. APPLICATION DEADLINE: May 25, 2026 JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Director of Physical Plant, the HVAC Technician will perform journeyman level work in planning, installing, maintenance, modification, overhaul, service, and repair of all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in a manner supportive of the instructional goals of the College, as well as perform all duties according to state and local codes. Work will include monitoring and troubleshooting Siemens and Johnson Controls EMS. Major responsibilities and duties:
