Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician & Facilities Maintenance professional to join our team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and light commercial HVAC systems while also assisting with general facility maintenance tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits- Compensation is based on HVAC license level (Journeyman or Master HVAC) and years of experience.

Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems efficiently and accurately.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on HVAC equipment and systems.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with the Facilities Director regarding maintenance concerns, recommended solutions, and estimated repair costs.
- Present service recommendations and obtain approval prior to completing repairs or upgrades.
- Complete service documentation, maintenance records, and job tracking within MaintainX or other maintenance management systems.
- Identify opportunities for HVAC system improvements and recommend upgrades or preventative solutions.
- Maintain professionalism and positive customer service when interacting with staff, clients, vendors, and team members.
- Assist with general building maintenance duties including basic plumbing, minor electrical repairs, and facility upkeep when HVAC responsibilities permit.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team on facility improvement projects and repairs as assigned.
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with applicable HVAC and maintenance regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications- Journeyman HVAC License required.
- Master HVAC License preferred, or willingness to obtain Master HVAC certification in the near future.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in HVAC service and facility maintenance required.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
- Experience with MaintainX or similar CMMS software preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Preferred Skills- Experience working with residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and facility operations.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond to urgent maintenance needs efficiently.
