Experienced HVAC Service Technician

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in the Knoxville area.

We are not just looking for somebody to punch a clock and run calls. We want somebody who knows how to diagnose, fix problems the right way, communicate well with customers, and take advantage of the earning opportunity in front of them.

This is a strong opportunity for the right tech because we make selling and production worth it in a real way. We have one of the best spiff programs in Knoxville, and our top guys have real upside here. Some of our technicians have made nearly $5,000 in commissions per month on top of regular pay. That is not a promise or guarantee, but it shows what is possible when a good tech knows how to serve customers well and take advantage of the system.

We work hard, and we expect a lot, but this is also a place where you actually get to benefit from the value you create. If you are a strong tech who is tired of doing all the work while somebody else gets all the upside, this could be a very good fit.

What you’ll be doing

• Diagnose, repair, and service residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot heating, cooling, airflow, electrical, and mechanical issues
• Perform maintenance, service, and repair work efficiently and correctly
• Communicate clearly with customers about system issues and recommended solutions
• Identify repair and replacement opportunities when appropriate
• Keep accurate notes and service records
• Represent the company well in the field with professionalism and good communication
• Work independently and manage service calls without needing constant oversight

What we’re looking for

• Strong HVAC service experience
• Ability to diagnose and repair systems without a lot of hand-holding
• Good customer communication skills
• Someone dependable, motivated, and able to work well on their own
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• EPA certification preferred
• Experience in residential service is strongly preferred
