Mechanical Services business in the Pittsburgh area. This position is responsible for building additional customer base and developing strong business relationships.
HVAC Technical Sales Representative Essential Functions:- With minimal supervision, presents the McClure Company offerings – particularly focused on the company’s target vertical markets; commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and government.
- Increase and maintain business opportunities by working with prospects and customers to identify their needs and present company products and services to meet those needs.
- Create targeted and effective proposals, answer questions and objections in an effective and responsible manner.
- Create cost estimates for HVAC Project and Maintenance scopes of work.
- Survey mechanical systems, equipment, and job conditions.
- Increase existing customer interaction and/or other services by maintaining ongoing relationships and insuring customer satisfaction.
- Self generate leads within the identified vertical markets and geographical regions.
- Leverage all of the McClure Company offerings to generate leads and cultivate additional opportunities.
- Build rapport and positive working relationships with office staff, field personnel and management.
- Become proficient on the McClure Company sales selling system.
- Upholds rigorous adherence to workplace safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
HVAC Technical Sales Representative Experience, Technical Skills & Attributes Required:- Five (5) or more years of proven technical HVAC industry experience working directly with our target markets.
- HVAC Field experience preferred.
- Professional, dynamic presence and ability to communicate with people of all levels.
- Initiative-taking, relentless sales focus.
- Excellent written and verbal skills at technical and professional level.
- Ability to work independently in a demanding environment with measurable goals.
- Keen intelligence and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in computer skills.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Position is full-time Monday - Friday
