Description

Our client is a leading HVAC distribution company seeking a Full-Time Technical Support Specialist to join their team. This role requires a highly analytical individual with strong troubleshooting capabilities and a deep understanding of HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of diagnosing technical issues, and committed to supporting contractors and technicians through structured problem-solving while maintaining accurate case documentation.

Payrate:

$60,000 – $75,000 annually (based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Provide HVAC troubleshooting support via phone and ticketing systems
• Analyze wiring diagrams, refrigeration circuits, and system performance
• Interpret voltage, amperage, and pressure readings to diagnose issues
• Identify root causes related to installation, operation, or component failure
• Document technical findings and maintain structured case records
• Request and review supporting materials such as photos, videos, and installation data
• Guide contractors and technicians toward effective corrective solutions
• Provide installation and operational recommendations when needed
• Support technical education initiatives for clients when applicable
• Escalate confirmed failures to internal departments when necessary
• Identify recurring product issues and quality trends
• Collaborate with internal teams such as the warehouse and purchasing

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of HVAC technical experience
• Strong understanding of split systems and heat pump operations
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Understanding of Inverter Technology or a strong electrical background.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Professional communication skills, especially when supporting contractors
• Experience providing technical support in a distribution or contractor environment is preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
