Long Island HVAC company seeks Service Technician for their growing business. Hours 8-5 M-F plus Saturdays if necessary. Performance based bonuses available.
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician with 5-7 years experience to install, inspect, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC equipment.
- Inspect systems for safety, efficiency, and code compliance.
- Replace defective parts and components as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Test system performance and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.
- Communicate repair recommendations and maintenance needs to customers.
- Follow company safety procedures and industry regulations.
Salary up to $45hr plus paid overtime
