Shift: Monday- Friday | 7 am - 3:30 PM
Location: Converse, TX
Pay Rate: $27 - $32
Travel: Up to 80%

Currently seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join a team with one of the world s largest modular building companies, with more than 250 locations. This is a hands-on career opportunity focused on commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The technician may also assist with general repairs to modular buildings and fleet equipment.

Responsibilities:

" Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install commercial HVAC systems.
" Service air-conditioning units, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, exhaust fans, economizers, and heaters.
" Perform preventive maintenance, emergency service, and final repairs.
" Respond to service calls at customer sites and branch locations.
" Clean clogged HVAC systems and replace damaged or defective components.
" Identify and order the equipment, parts, and materials needed for repairs.
" Complete work orders and maintain accurate service and inventory records.
" Communicate with team members, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
" Assist with other modular-building repairs, including doors, plumbing, roofing, tile, and security equipment.
" Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures.
" Wear and properly use all required personal protective equipment.

Requirements:

" EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification required.
" HVAC certificate or degree from an accredited technical or vocational school.
" High school diploma or GED.
" Four or more years of HVAC, maintenance, or construction experience preferred.
" Valid driver s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
" Ability to pass background and drug screenings.
" Basic computer knowledge and the ability to complete electronic work orders.
" Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and problem-solving skills.
" Experience safely using hand tools, power tools, and HVAC equipment.
" Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
" Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work indoors and outdoors.
" Comfortable working in different weather conditions and around dirt, dust, grease, noise, and heavy equipment.
" Reliable and flexible to work overtime or respond to emergency service calls as needed.
