Debbie’s Staffing is seeking an HVAC Technician for our Client in High Point, NC!
Pay Rate: $24/hour
Schedule: Requires on call duty
Job Summary: Skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This position also performs general maintenance work to support Agency properties and operations. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, customer-focused, and experienced in servicing residential and commercial HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment and ductwork.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete necessary repairs.
- Perform general maintenance duties as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with all safety standards and applicable codes.
- Complete accurate service records and work orders.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Vocational or technical training in HVAC is required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience installing and maintaining HVAC equipment and ductwork.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required.
- North Carolina Licensed Electrical Contractor license required.
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with a good driving record required.
- Heating Group 3, Class 1 classification preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Must be able to work independently and participate in an on-call schedule.
