HVAC Technician
Location: Houston, TX Pay: $30/hour Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: MondayFriday | 40 hours/week
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our Facilities team. This role will support company properties throughout Houston by performing HVAC troubleshooting, minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and assisting with general maintenance needs.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can evaluate HVAC issues, verify repair needs, and help ensure vendor recommendations and repair costs are accurate.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on commercial HVAC systems.
Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
Verify HVAC issues and evaluate recommended repairs.
Review vendor quotes and assist with cost-effective repair decisions.
Coordinate with contractors on larger HVAC projects.
Respond to facility maintenance requests.
Assist with general building maintenance tasks as needed.
Travel between company locations as required.
Qualifications
Valid HVAC Certification or License required.
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience with commercial HVAC troubleshooting and repairs.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests.
Valid driver's license required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work in indoor/outdoor environments.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
