ABM is seeking a Commercial HVAC Technician II to support service operations across Richmond, VA. This is a field-based role, dispatched from home, focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC systems. This position is ideal for a solid mid-level commercial technician looking to grow with a stable organization. Residential-only experience is not a fit for this role.

Requirements:

• 3-5 plus years of commercial HVAC experience • Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance background • EPA Universal Certification required • HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred • High school diploma or equivalent • Preferred Experience: • Packaged units and RTUs up to mid-range tonnage • Exposure to chillers or refrigeration (not required) • Experience working in commercial facilities

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record • Ability to travel throughout the DFW area • Ability to lift equipment and perform physical job duties • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and overtime as needed • Pre-employment background check, drug test, and MVR required

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems • Perform preventive maintenance and service repairs on customer equipment • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using standard HVAC tools • Work on RTUs, split systems, and packaged units (light-to-mid tonnage) • Complete service documentation and communicate effectively with customers • Follow safety standards, codes, and ABM procedures
